4th of July

We spent the morning of the 4th of July taking Jake and Coleman to Santa Barbara for EFY.  On our way back, we stopped at Pismo Beach.  There were NO parking spots, but there was ONE vacancy at the Sea Gypsy motel, and that did come with a parking spot!  So we booked the room and parked.  The location was awesome--right next to the beach.  We played and played, then went to our room and changed and relaxed.  Then we went out to dinner and back down to the beach for fireworks.  Because there was only one queen bed in the room and five of us, we decided to check out early and head home after the fireworks.  It was a really fun and memorable July 4th!

Alameda County Fair

 While Steve and Jake were on the High Adventure, the rest of us went to the Alameda County Fair right here in Pleasanton!  It was as VERY hot day, but we had a good time!
