Jake was nominated for PCMS Student of the Year!

 "...based on your outstanding work, both inside and outside the classroom, and for the excellent example you have set for your peers.  Nominations were submitted by staff members and students at PCMS, and the final vote was conducted by PCMS staff.   All of the finalists will be recognized at the awards assembly on June 18, and one boy and one girl will then be honored with the Student of the Year award."

Kaleb (when he saw Jake's nomination sheet): "You better win this thing."

Jake: "But I'm going against Trevor Morine, Allen Aby, Josh Feinsilber, and Griffin Zue."

Kaleb: "Oh.  Well you better come in third."

Jake, of course, is the obvious winner in our book.  His friend, Allen Aby, went home with the award as well as the Service and Athlete of the Year awards (hello, can we spread it around a little?!).  We think it is super cool that Jake was nominated.  We are really proud of you, Jake.

"Jake is known to be reliable, accountable, hardworking, and having a great attitude.  He leads by example and gives 100% regardless of points or if he is in a practice or game.  Jake is a student and an athlete who represents each and every one of our HEROES goals (Health, Excellence, Relationships, Opportunities, Equality, Safety) with a smile on his face.  He represents himself, his family, and our school with the highest caliber of personal best each day."
