blog mush

A look into the future, I am sure.

Anne with her Primary class and the quilt they (Melynda) made for her.

It's always fun finding out your cousins are on the same flight!

sisters.

Oops.  What is our problem!?!?
(Luckily we made it to the gas station)

1,021 miles

We flew 1,021 miles to be with this many people in Denver.
35 of us in all.

We celebrated 50 years of marriage at Maggiano's.
SURPRISE!!!

Even the 3 youngest had fun.
We celebrated a return home from Bogota, Columbia after 2 years,
 Cate's 14th birthday, Dax's 1st dunk in the gym,
 and Eagle Scout award.
In our spare time, we played about 42 games of bump (or on moms' iphones)
spent 4 days at cousins' houses,
played in 3-4 inches of snow,

21 of us went to jump,

11 blasted at Dart Warz,
AND  we all played in 60 degree weather.
It was a #1 trip in our book!

seaside

Jake played basketball down by the seashore.
We spent a lot of time in the gym,
eating at our favorite place,
and in or near water.
A quick weekend trip, but 2 great Saturday games, car heaven for Drew, and yummy ice cream for the girls made it a win-win-win-win.

ball boy

Jake and his friend, Kaleb, were selected by their basketball coach to be the Ball Boys for the IHS Varsity team.
They refilled water bottles, rebounded and passed the ball during warm-ups, and tried to stay out of the way at the right times.  It's not easy being a ball boy, but it is pretty cool.

supersad superbowl

It was such a sweet start to Superbowl Sunday.
Once again we had Stake Conference.  Ammon was even compared to Russell Wilson ("Why not us?") and then to Richard Sherman when he was perceived as boasting in his own strength.
Even in Sunday clothes we can support the Seahawks, and we showed our Seahawks spirit all through Sunday.
Such sadness all of a sudden for the Seahawks, their supporters, and all of Seattle.
SOOO close.
SOOO sad.
It's just the Superbowl, and we will swallow our sadness sometime soon, but...
seriously!
